Bedroom decoration ideas

In our daily life we work hard and stay out of home for a big part of a day and when we come to home we wants to have a relax and a peaceful sleep. Where do you feel peaceful when you are tired??? Is it drawing room? No! There are some guests. Is it dining room?? Obviously not! There is only a dining table and chairs. May be TV lounge?? Noo! There is noise in TV lounge. So bedroom is only a place where you can freely drop on your bed and go to sweet dreams. Am I right?? Yes absolutely! Bedroom is a place which eliminates your stress and brings fresh energy to your life that’s why it is important to care of your interests and choices consistent with the age while decorating your bedroom because interests and moods get changed with ages. A teenager’s bedroom should not look like a child’s bedroom similarly an elder’s bedroom never looks good if it is decorated with youngsters bedroom collections. Let me discuss some bedroom ideas according to ages.

Children bedroom

As we know that children during the age of 1 to 8 years have curiosity for discovering new things and pays a keen concentration to anything new. Children wishes to discover something new in every moment. They are fond of colors and colorful things. Their bedroom’s theme should have bright colors and allow them to show their creativity in their rooms. Children likes less furniture but more toys and colorful bedding on bed. They become excited if they have a new change in their bedroom especially they like bedding with bright colors and beautiful designs with some crafty pictures and they feel relax with soft bedding.

Adult’s bedroom

After the age of 10 one starts thinking like an adult and loses interests of childhood. Now he wants to be treated like an adult and he left back his childhood. Adults likes to have more luxury bedroom with their favorite color theme, well decorated walls and finely settled furniture. Bed is the concentration point of a bedroom that’s why a bed should have good collection of bedding and should be placed at central point of bedroom. Elder’s bedroom

An Elder’s bedroom usually gives an exquisite look and luxury feeling. They like light colors but it is not compulsory that all elders like so. The thing which makes difference in adults and elders bedroom is that elders do not like their bedrooms with so much dust and strewn things in their bedroom while adults are mostly careless for their bedrooms. Although they want to have a luxury bedroom and beautiful bedroom decoration but they usually do not care for its cleanliness and setting. This is a bad habit but elders do not do so that’s why their bedrooms remain clean and embellish for long.

Bedroom decoration tips

If sufficient time has been passed, you need to clean it, redecorate it and change its major items. Do it on a weekend because it is a time taking procedure and make sure to rearrange your bedroom at least once a month.

Let’s start!

1. Take a pen paper and make a plan. Draw a theme for your bedroom.
2. Choose colors and designs which you want to use for your walls decoration.
3. Decide the arrangements of furniture and other items.

5. Place everything out of your room.
6. Clean your room thoroughly and clean all windows, doors, fans, walls and everything else.

9. Start setting from bed. Put the bed at central point of your room.
10. Set curtains on windows and door.
11. Now set sofa near your bed and arrange cushions with new cases on it.
12. Set cupboard according to your choice. If its color was damaged then color it first.
